"Alexis did a most professional job on my maple cannonball bed. It had been put in storage and sustained some damage requiring that it be refinished. Since I was using it for my grandson's bedroom, I wanted something a little different from the factory finish. I was more than satisfied with her work. I have refinished a little furniture on my own and realize the labor that is involved and how easily a finish can be compromised with one missed stroke. I recommend her to anyone that is wanting a professional finish. Thanks for a job well done!"

"Alexus just dropped off my chair and ottoman. I was concerned that I did not have quite enough fabric for both pieces so she needed to reassure me half way through the process. Well, didn't have quite enough fabric so she put her "creative hat" on and now I have 2 pieces that I like better than I would have had initially. Great job! Now I'll look for another piece so I can use her again soon."

"Alexus just delivered our couch with its new slip-cover. It looks terrific. She did such a good and precise job that it looks brand new. Not only that, but instead of a simple seam down the middle on the back of the couch, she made fabric-covered buttons with loops - they look like the buttons on a dress. "Alexus recovered a small bench for my guest room and took extra efforts to do it exactly right. She took extra pains with decorative pillows for the bed and put the main part of the pattern exactly in the center. as I asked her. The bench is prettier than I had even hoped it would be. I brought my Grandms chair to have it recovered as she has had it forever. It has great sentimental value to me. Alexis did an outstanding job on the chair!! The craftsmanship was top of the line! Thank you Alexus! I know grandma is smiling from heaven!

Alexus does the most beautiful, perfect work!!! I have had her find my fabric for most of the furniture, drapes/valences and all the cushions in my home over the last 18+ years. Many pieces she has reapolstered and re-cushioned TWICE! She can look at your room and go find the most amazing fabric to reapolster or make pillows/cushions/drapes. She just completed re-doing my porch sofa and chairs, with the most lovely fabric and offsetting print pillows. I quit trying to find fabric after her her job for me which was building a couch from a cubby on my new third floor. She has an eye for selection/color that I have never seen. We could not be more pleased with her work. The cording in a different color is made like it came from a top end furniture maker in Highpoint- but better!

Alexus did a great job reupholstering our Duncan Phyfe sofa. She picked it up from our New Bern home and returned it a week later. The sofa looks beautiful.

Alexus did a beautiful job re-upholstering my sofa. She was prompt on the day she picked up my sofa from New Bern as well as on the day she returned it. The turn-around time was less than a week. I would hire her again with no hesitation and will recommend her to my friends.

Took a chair and ottomans to Ms. Alexus and she turned old and worn out furniture and made them new again. I will definitely be taking any future work to her again. She does absolutely stunning work. Very pleased with everything!

I am thrilled with the work that Alexus did for me in covering two chairs, an ottoman and making accent pillows. She is meticulous and so creative. After talking with her for a couple of minutes, I knew that I could trust her to help me make all of the difficult decisions about finishing touches. My instincts told me that I could trust her judgment, and when she delivered my furniture today, I found out just how correct my instincts were! She is a true professional and an artisan. I am so happy I found her! Now I'm looking around for other things she could work her magic on for me! Thank you, Alexus!!

Alexus is a hidden jewel tucked away in the antique mecca of Selma, NC. My mother introduced me this talented seamstress many years ago and she has been my "go to" ever since. She takes a piece of fabric and performs magic with her creativity. Her craftsmanship, creativity, friendliness, efficiency and work ethic make her a sensational seamstress!

Alexus excels in all she does....upholstery is ALWAYS first class and her painted furniture is beautiful...she has an eye for current trends and also timeless pieces....my favorite things she does are French pieces! Please NEVER retire!
